Monterey County Agricultural Education, Inc. (MCAE) is a non-profit
organization of educators, agriculturalists, and interested
parties dedicated to fostering respect and appreciation of
Monterey County’s number one industry—AGRICULTURE.
It is our mission to bring together and educate urban, rural
and agricultural communities.
Monterey County Agricultural Education, Inc. envisions a time
when all communities understand the positive impact of Monterey
County’s proud agricultural heritage. Monterey County
Agricultural Education will foster an appreciation of the
progressive science and modern technology used by agriculture
and the contributions that agriculture makes toward better
health and nutrition throughout the world.
Heroes of Ag - Natural and Organic is a 24 month calendar
featuring thirty-three agriculturists as few have seen them!
This Ag calendar tours the wonders of Monterey County - from
oil fields in the south to artichoke fields in the north -
while presenting these brave men with the tools of their trade.
